Living in a Material World

Haus of Ogé features signature designs with a strong emphasis on LGBTQ+, drag, non-binary, femmes, and more. Fashion visionary, Jinx Ogé, created this line so everyone could feel beautiful, show all sides of themselves, and sparkle as the star of their own story. Twice recognized by the Shepherd Express as a finalist for the Best of Milwaukee, they prove that Milwaukee offers high fashion as well as the many other cities that normally get that recognition.

“I color my existence with my imagination,” says Ogé.

In the midst of 2020, the Haus of Ogé opened and has since held three fashion shows—one virtual and two live at Milwaukee Pride’s Pridetoberfest—and debuted dozens of new designs.

The first fashion show was on Facebook Live and featured local vocalist Blu Shuga. As part of the event, a portion of sales were donated to SHEBA—a local organization supporting equity and justice for trans women of color.

Ogé’s fantasy designs take inspiration from many places. That includes echoing pop culture, 80s and 90s trends, video games, dollhouse- and futuristic-themed looks, and beyond.

“We don’t let reality stand in our way,” says Ogé.

The brand started with intimates, underwear, and harnesses. Soon after, the unapologetic line grew to include Lolita dresses, sportswear, clubwear, and gowns.

Anybody who is interested in a unique creation by Ogé can place an order on their Etsy shop at etsy.com/shop/HausOfOge.

In addition, you can also order what Ogé describes as “Milwaukee’s Sexiest Calendar.” For 2022, it features 13 models, including Ogé and their husband, and the clothing that makes the brand what it is.

As they prepare for another year, they’re looking forward to two Spring fashion shows, new designs, and more models who share their vision of innovative and inclusive designs.

The models for Haus of Ogé bring the right attitude and share their diverse views and input. Many different walks of life help make the brand what it is today. When it comes to fashion, everyone involved shares a lot in common.

Ogé emphasized, “It’s our differences that make us beautiful. And they should be celebrated.”

If you’re interested in becoming one of their models, you may contact them at [email protected] or on Instagram at @Haus.Of.Oge.

As the brand grows, they’re looking forward to representing Milwaukee as the place for high fashion while delivering creations across the United States and the globe.
