Disability Pride Madison Summertime Gathering!
July 31, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Disability Pride Madison has Tenney Park reserved for Saturday, July 31st! We were not able to plan and host a festival this year, so we wanted to do something more casual and minimalist instead. Why? Because WE MISS YOU! Please come to Tenney Park from 11am-5pm for a socially distanced and masked hang out – bring your own snacks and beverages! There will be an open mic for people to speak about their experiences over the past year and their hopes for the future.
All attendees are allowed to park in the My Choice Wisconsin parking lot (1617 Sherman Ave). There will be NO shuttles or parking attendants.

Why do we still have strict(er) guidelines?
While Dane County has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions and the CDC no longer recommends mask wearing for vaccinated people, we recognize that the best practices of public health do not always reflect what is safe and just for disabled people and communities. For many people, the pandemic is not “over”. We are strongly opposed to putting anyone at risk, including our friends and family who are still cautious about opening up.
