On Saturday, February 27th at 2:00pm, Forward Theater is excited to welcome Professor David Bordwell, author of Pandora’s Digital Box: Films, Files, and the Future of Movies. Professor Bordwell will participate in a screening and post-film chat of Dying of the Light with director Peter Flynn. A must for cinephiles, this moving and informative documentary celebrates the art of celluloid film projection. Through interviews with veteran projectionists and new footage that explores the booths of some of the nation’s still extant movie palaces and drive-ins, Dying of the Light tells the story of how movies are brought to life before an audience.
