Joshua Bell, one of the most celebrated violinists in the world, has played in every major hall and premiered many original compositions. Bell got his start plucking rubber bands before his parents gave him his first violin at age 4. By the time he was 14 he gained national attention debuting with the Philadelphia Orchestra, later playing in Carnegie Hall and receiving an Avery Fisher Career Grant.

Bell has received numerous Grammys, winning Best Instrumental Soloist Performance with Orchestra, Best Engineered Album, Classical, and in various collaborations, including a crossover album with Bela Fleck. He also performed at the Grammy Awards twice and has been one of the first classical artists to have VH1 feature a music video. He was the subject of a BBC Omnibus documentary and recipient of the Humanitarian Award from Seton Hall University.

Bell has performed for three U.S. Presidents as well as the President of China and devoted himself to several charitable causes, most notably Education Through Music, which has helped put instruments in the hands of thousands of kids in America’s inner cities. He was honored by this organization and received the Academy of Achievement Award in 2008.

Always looking for new opportunities to increase his repertoire, Bell has premiered multiple new works by composers including Nicholas Maw, Aaron Jay Kernis, Edgar Meyer and John Corigliano.

Pianist Alessio Bax, Leeds and Hamamatsu International Piano Competition and 2009 Avery Fisher Career Grant winner, has appeared as a soloist with over 100 orchestras, including the London and Royal Philharmonics. He creates a “ravishing listening experience” according to The Independent and spectacularly closed the Chamber Music Society Season at Lincoln Center in 2015. Bax is celebrated for his vast repertoire which as grown continuously since he graduated from the conservatory in Bari, Italy at the age of fourteen.
