Join us as we recognize the progress made for the LGBTQ community and discuss the work that still needs to be done as we work towards full equality. \nInspiring speakers will share their story and vision for a more inclusive world. You’ll also have the opportunity to network with other members of the LGBTQ community and our allies\, as well as a delicious lunch. Vegetarian and vegan options available. \nOur keynote speaker\, Marc VandeWettering\, is entering his second season as the UW men’s basketball general manager after serving the past eight seasons as the program’s director of operations. DESCRIPTION:This event: May be of interest to the LGBTQ community || Are you interested in yoga? Are you a beginner and don’t know where to start? Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community and need a safe space? Look no further than these regular Wednesday night gentle yoga sessions. \nStarting Wednesday\, May 14th at 6:00 p.m.\, Bruce Kiefaber will begin sponsoring weekly one-hour outdoor yoga sessions at Lake Farms Park – just off the bike trail. This outdoor pavilion looks out over the Nine Springs e-Way with beautiful views. There is a nearby parking lot for those who use a car\, and if you ride a bike\, you can’t miss the pavilion as it is feet from the bike trail. \nPlease bring a yoga mat\, and water if you want. \nA donation of $10 per class is suggested\, but not required. \nWe hope to see you there. ||
