Trying to sell your artwork online or pivot in a new direction? Do you have so many pieces of work that you’re not sure where to start? \nWork with artist and designer Ben Orozco and other Madison creative professionals on assembling\, updating\, and/or refining your portfolio in this hands-on\, weekly bootcamp\, back for a third year! Each participant will set a personal goal for their portfolio to pursue over six weeks. Each week\, Orozco will walk through a different process of building the creative portfolio and publicly presenting yourself and your work. The second half of class will be used for answering questions\, worktime\, and one-on-one time supporting each participant. \nPlease bring a laptop. DESCRIPTION:This event: Has LGBTQ content\, Is LGBTQ hosted\, May be of interest to the LGBTQ community || The Always There Fair is a middle-and-high-school aged celebration of LGBTQIA2S+ identities and allies. Join us to celebrate and uplift queer joy in the Dane County community! Attendees can expect to see performances\, connect with others\, complete art projects\, participate in a clothing swap\, and get resources and recommendations from around Dane County. It is called the “Always There” fair to be inclusive of all identities and to uplift the fact that queer people and queer joy are\, have been\, and always will be a key part of an equitable society. This is an event for the community\, by the community\, to help all youth feel safe\, seen\, heard\, welcomed\, and loved. The Always There Fair is at Badger Ridge Middle School on May 9th\, 2026 from 9am-12pm. 300 Richard Street\, Verona\, WI 53593 There will also be a Zumba fitness fundraiser for PFLAG and the GSAs from 2-4pm for only $10. This event is organized in collaboration with the VAHS\, BRMS\, CKCS\, and SOMS Gender Sexuality Alliances\, as well as Leaders for Just Schools through the National Education Association (NEA). ||
