Live out the queer prom fantasy you’ve always wanted at this adults only\, elegant\, immersive event! 🍄 \n \nEnjoy an evening of enchantment in the Overture Center ✨ Dress in your finest formal attire and enter our Enchanted Forest\, filled with fun props\, lights\, and a dance floor of course! Bring a date\, dates\, or party solo – all are welcome! \n \nLOCATION & TIME\n\n\nOverture Center for the Arts (main hall and promenade lobby) \n\n\nFriday\, April 3rd\, 2026 \n\n\n5pm – 11pm \n\n\n \nTICKETS REQUIRED\n\n\n$60 per ticket* — purchase tickets below \n\n\nParking NOT included \n\n\nLimited tickets will be available for purchase at the door \n\n\nTickets will sell out\, so make sure to get yours in advance! \n\n\n\n\nTickets can be refunded up to 2 weeks before the event \n\n\nFollowing that\, tickets cannot be refunded. \n\n\n\n\n \nEVENT INFO\n\n\nTheme: Enchanted Forest 🍄 \n\n\nFormal attire encouraged but not required 👔 \n\n\nWear something you’ve always wanted to\, but never had the chance to! \n\n\n\n\n18+ only ‼️ \n\n\nDance under the lights to the original mixes of DJ Femme Noir 🎶 \n\n\nTicket includes professional prom-style digitized photos 📸 \n\n\nShop at a couple of prom-specific vendors for flowers\, jewelry\, and little gifts to remember the evening ❤️ \n\n\n \nOTHER INFO\n\n\nSelf-serve appetizer buffet featuring vegan and gluten free options \n\n\nLight refreshments at no extra cost \n\n\nAlcoholic beverages will be available for purchase \n\n\nPer venue policy\, you will be required to walk through security (a metal detector and possible bag check) when you arrive at Overture \n\n\nFREE coat check available \n\n\nAll are welcome to attend; however\, this is a queer run event intended for LGBTQIA+ attendees\, and anyone attending who does not fall under that umbrella will be expected to respect the queer space they are in. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ \n\n\n \nGUESTS OF HONOR\n\n\nIn lieu of a traditional prom court\, we will have 2 guests of honor that will be recognized at prom \n\n\nOne will be chosen by The Big Gay Market administration \n\n\nOne will be chosen by the larger community \n\n\n\n\nIf there is someone that is making an impact and difference in our community\, please nominate them using the form here \n\n\nNominees must be 18 years or older \n\n\n\n\nGuests of honor will each receive 2 complimentary tickets to The Big Gay Prom and will have the opportunity to address attendees \n\n\n \n \n \n*Sliding scale tickets are available upon request.
