Historic Launch of The TransGen Times, News Source for the Transgender Community

by | Nov 11, 2014 | 0 comments

Hollywood, CA – The historic launch late last month of TheTransGenTimes.com (TGT) has been heralded as a much welcomed and needed centralized news source for the TransGender Community.  TGT pulls news and related content into one easy to use format.

The TransGen Times is a Huffington Post style online newspaper and is making a big splash in the TransGender Community.  For the first time ever, TransGender people and their Allies can easily keep up to date on what is happening as it relates to the TG Experience.

“I created TGT to amplify the voices of my Trans* Sisters and Brothers.  To provide necessary information and a platform for TGs who would otherwise be silenced. The reception we have been receiving from our community is overwhelming,” says Rachael Rose Luckey, TGT Founder and owner of TransGen Media Company.

“Information is power.  A well informed community is essential to marching our movement forward.  There is still a lot of work to be done in order to gain acceptance and tolerance from mainstream society.  TGT is positioning itself to be on the front lines, providing information to both our community and those that would marginalize us.”

The newspaper’s sections currently include:
The Front page
International News
Business News
Youth
Health, Beauty and Fashion
Entertainment and Arts
Faith, Spirituality and Religion
Comics

The TransGen Times welcomes anyone who wishes to be heard to submit original content [email protected] for review.
