Summary:

Job Family Summary
Operates and maintains a range of printing equipment (e.g. photocopier, digital printing press) and finishing equipment (e.g. trimmer, binder) to print quantities of various documents.

First level in job family responsible for running equipment and press operations.

Job Description:

 

Level Summary

  • Works with clearly defined methods and tasks that are described in detail.
  • Works under close supervision with little autonomy.
  • Requires little or no prior relevant training or work experience.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Setup, adjust, operate, and maintain a small 2-color offset press.
  • Ensure proper quality and color is achieved and maintained. Visually inspect images for imperfections and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform daily maintenance on equipment, contact service technicians, and coordinate service for equipment problems.
  • Achieve proficiency in and utilize several vendor supplied software control and operating systems.
  • Monitor inventory and order as necessary

 

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies as they develop.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of USPS regulations and UPS requirements.

Education & Licenses

  • Power Industrial Truck training and certification.

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires travel up to 10% of the time.

 

Additional Job Information:

The available shift at this time will be:

Night shift 7:30 p.m. – 5:35 a.m.

Relocation assistance will be provided.
