LGBT Conduit events for Wisconsin spring elections

by | Mar 5, 2014 | 0 comments

From Fair Wisconsin:

Leave your mark and advance LGBT equality in upcoming local elections. In just the last few years, we have witnessed huge growth in the number of local laws, ordinances and resolutions that improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Wisconsinites across the state, one community at a time.  From domestic partner benefits for municipal workers to gender-inclusive nondiscrimination policies, Fair Wisconsin works with the local elected leaders who are advancing these measures, to continue protecting our families and ending discrimination.

Spring elections are coming up on April 1, 2014 and we need your help in defending our champions of LGBT equality — the local leaders from La Pointe to Rock County and from La Crosse to Manitowoc.  Join us at upcoming LGBT Conduit events and show your support for local candidates across Wisconsin.

SAVE THE DATE:
Join us in Madison and Milwaukee, March 17-18, 2014

Monday, March 17
Art Bar – Riverwest
722 East Burleigh Street
Milwaukee

Tuesday, March 18
PLAN B
924 Williamson Street
Madison

This event is hosted by the LGBT Conduit, a joint effort of Fair Wisconsin PAC and Wisconsin Progress.  The LGBT Conduit builds the power of the LGBT community in state and local elections in Wisconsin, by providing a way for LGBT and allied individuals to maximize the impact of their political giving.  When you contribute to candidates through the LGBT Conduit, you demonstrate your support for LGBT equality, and the broad and growing support that LGBT Wisconsinites have in the greater community.
