October 1220, 2015, in the Drury Theatre, we present Boys in the Band, by Mart Crowley and directed by Steve Noll.

This long-running hit play premiered in 1968 and was later filmed with the original cast. In 2010, the play returned to New York City in an highly praised production produced by Drama Desk and Obie Award winning Transport Group.

In his upper east side Manhattan apartment, Michael is throwing a birthday party for Harold, a self-avowed “32 year-old, pock-marked, Jew fairy.” He’s also giving him a surprise gift: a street hustler named “Cowboy”. As the evening wears on, the guests, fueled by drugs and alcohol, reveal bitter, unresolved resentments when a game of “Truth” goes terribly wrong.

November 1328, 2015, in the Evjue Theatre, we present Finding Human, written and directed by local playwright Dan Myers.

Ten years ago, James was sentenced to death for the brutal murder of a priest. He never provided a reason for his actions, and accepted his guilt in silence. This is the story of the last week of this man’s life and the some of the people that share his world. Each of them try to answer the question: Why?

February 1229, 2016, in the Evjue Theatre, we present Psycho Beach Party by Charles Busch and directed by Michael Bruno.

Imagine “Gidget” crossed with “The Three Faces of Eve”, and “Mommie Dearest.” Chicklet, a perky teenager in Malibu Beach circa 1962, wants to learn to surf and join a group of beach bums led by the great Kanaka. Unfortunately, she suffers from multiple personality disorders…Among them is a black check-out girl, an elderly radio talk show hostess, a male model named Steve, and the accounting firm of Edelman and Edelman. Her most dangerous alter ego is a sexually voracious vixen named Ann Bowman, who wants nothing less than world domination.

June 1018, 2016, in the Drury Theatre, we present Queer Shorts 2.0 The ReBoot.StageQ’s annual short play festival returns with a fresh new take on this popular event. Written by playwrights from all over the country and directed by local directors.
