Unconventionally Fun Holiday Shopping at the Good Day Market

by | Oct 27, 2017 | 0 comments

Madison, WI – The Good Day Market is a pop up market happening Friday, December 8 from 4:30-9pm and Saturday, December 9 from 10am-3pm at The Madison Masonic Center in Downtown Madison. Around 50 artisans, makers and independent designers from throughout the midwest will be selling handcrafted home and lifestyle goods. Guests will also enjoy food carts, music, artisan demos and of course handcrafted beer. This shopping event is free and open to all. Come for the goods or come for the vibes.

Good Day Market is a modern mercantile style event showcasing the ingenuity, craftsmanship and beautiful, practical goods produced in the midwest. It’s a place to showcase vendors who focus on making high-quality home and lifestyle goods such as furniture, textiles, clothing, lighting, wood goods, apothecary, handbags, jewelry, packaged food and beverage and more. Our vendors have been highly curated to ensure a thoughtful mix of genres and aesthetics in order to bring you a vast array of quality goods to ensure you find “that special gift” for everyone at our one stop holiday shop.

Good Day Market is presented by One-OneThousand, a Madison-based startup focused on creating a network and programming that supports handcrafted professionals and hobbyists. The midwest is filled with talented and skilled makers and creating a marketplace that supports the production and sale of their goods helps them build sustainable businesses and helps our local economy thrive. It also creates an unconventional shopping experience for consumers seeking alternative avenues to find well-made goods to furnish their homes and fit their lifestyles. This type of event allows them to touch and feel the goods, meet the designer or maker behind it and form a personal connection, and do their shopping in a fun, social atmosphere.

This is the fourth installment of the Good Day Market. The inaugural event was held on June 10, 2016 at Octopi Brewing and realized approximately 500-600 guests, and we have since grown to over 1,000. The Good Day Market vendor line-up can be found on the website at gooddaymarket.net. Thank you to our generous sponsors, Wisconsin Union, Bel Air Cantina, Fiskars, CIRC, The Kombucha Shop, and Gorilly Goods for helping make this event possible. If you are interested sponsorship opportunities, contact Sarah Artz at [email protected] for more information.
