We are bringing you another family friendly gathering, to continue bringing love and awareness for all of our LGBTQIA+ community members and their loved ones.

We will have a variety of delicious food vendors and talented artisans to enjoy, along with our “live” photo booth, youth activities, a Vernon Historical Society Story tent to share and document the rich history of queer folks in the area; and a Blessing booth for faith loving community members who believe in acceptance for all.

**We understand that drag isn’t for everyone, and that’s ok! Our drag performers are doing all age appropriate, family friendly acts, and many children themselves can tell you how much fun they have! That being said, we are sharing the lineup early so people can plan to attend in the way that feels best for them. So if you want to see drag, we have 2 performances prepared for you! And if you would like to attend but avoid the drag shows, we have ample time throughout the day with other entertainment and activities to enjoy.

And if you don’t support this event or have a different view on the LGBTQIA+ community, we ask that you simply do not attend or attempt to upset the day. We have been very grateful for the respect we have been given so far, and hope to keep that same energy every year. Below is a link to a statement we released last year in response to concerns about the event and having added drag, and I would ask you to refer to it again. Because we all may not see everything in the same way, but we all want the same freedom to enjoy who we are and to gather safely with one another.
