About Queer Suave by Niko:
Hello! My name is Niko! I’m a trans man living in Madison, WI. I started Queer Suave because I wanted to create a safe space for Queer and Trans folks to be able to express themselves through fashion and not feel uncomfortable or dysphoric in doing so. I’ve always had a passion for creating something from nothing. When 2020 hit the world turned upside down and I adapted by teaching myself how to sew. Coming out as trans during this time helped me to finally start to love myself. I couldn’t find clothing options that could help me express that love, so I had a new mission to change that.
Accessibility notes: We have two steps to come in the front door, and one step in our back door accessible via ramp. There are two steps into the second portion of our building to reach the bathroom. We do have a roll-a-ramp we can set-up for bathroom accessibility. Please let us know if we may assist you in accessing the space.
We have limited parking behind our building in a small lot.
