;This event: May be of interest to the LGBTQ community || The Wisconsin Book Festival is hosting a virtual author event on September 20 at 7 p.m. featuring Ntozake Shange’s Sing a Black Girl’s Song, with Black scholars and activists Tarana Burke (foreword) and Imani Perry (editor). Sing a Black Girl’s Song is a posthumous collection of Shange’s unpublished poems, essays and plays from throughout the life of the seminal Black feminist writer. ||
