Virtual Card Writing & Pen Pal Matching

Are you looking for a creative outlet and want to participate in mutual aid? Are you interested in becoming a pen pal with a LGBTQ+ person in prison? OR are you a pen pal that is looking for support or talking through questions as you navigate your penpal-ship?
Join us every 1st Sunday of the month for our card writing and pen pal matching program! You can:
1. Learn about Black and Pink’s two main programs: birthday cards and pen pal matching. We’ll share expectations, resources, and do’s and don’ts! These are great volunteer opportunities whether you’ve been letter writing for a decade, or if it’s your first time!
2. Decorate birthday cards for Black and Pink members in Wisconsin! (no to low commitment)
3. Get matched with a pen pal!! (ongoing commitment)
4. Have dedicated writing time to your pen pal and/or decorating time for birthday cards.
5. Ask questions about your penpal-ship
