The Department of Revenue (DOR) is seeking individuals to fill multiple Revenue Agent positions.

Starting salary is $22.55 per hour, plus an excellent benefits package. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan. This classification is in pay schedule/pay range 07-04 and serves an 18-month probationary period.

Position Summary – Revenue Agent positions work in a variety of different work areas including processing tax documents, providing answers to customer questions related to tax forms and tax law, making adjustments or preparing assessments and refunds, and collecting overdue taxes and other debts.

These roles provide quality customer assistance and acquire additional information to help customers with tax questions. Positions require a high degree of independence, initiative, technical knowledge, and ability to communicate across the organization. Some work areas may not have positions available throughout the entirety of this recruitment.
