Our Lives lives out its best mission when it is telling the stories of queer and trans residents from every corner of the state. While LGBTQ visibility has grown, there are still many places where the community’s contributions remain unrecognized by the towns and cities that people call home. Our Lives is doing the work to grow regional editorial and content teams to identify, write, and photograph stories of local importance and statewide relevance that meet the educational mission of the magazine. To pull off serving the state effectively, Our Lives needs people embedded within each regional and identity-based community who are empowered and supported through Our Lives resources to strengthen their local capacity for storytelling and education. If you are one of those people, fill out the form below and we will get in touch with you!
