Bloom Bake Shop Delivery Driver/Front of House Ambassador

FT/PT: Part time. 3+ shifts, must include 1 weekend shift 

Hours: 5am-11am (we are open Tuesday-Sunday) 

Pay: $16-19/hour depending on experience 

Job Description/Primary Duties: 

Are you a morning person who loves organizing, pastries, and people? Do you like to rise early and then have the rest of the day to yourself? Bloom is hiring for a delivery driver/front of house Ambassador for our Northstreet location. This person must be hardworking, organized, self driven, kind, and has a great driving record. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Arrives to Monroe Street location at 5am to organize and package all pastries and deli items to be brought to Northstreet location 
• Style and load the case beautifully, open the cash register to be ready for our customers● Greets all customers warmly 
• Makes strong connections with customers to ensure they have a positive experience ● Packages bakery items and works efficiently to help customers and keep on daily task lists ● Ensures cleanliness and organization of front of house and contributes time in the dish pit ● Any other duties as assigned 

Competencies: 

This person must be self-motivated, kind, hardworking, organized, able to multitask, and have a good attention to detail. Great interpersonal skills and communication with coworkers, management, and customers is needed. Friendly and able to work in a fast paced environment. Able to receive constructive criticism feedback on a daily basis, and willing to ask questions to meet Bloom’s standards. 

Education and Experience: 

• • 18 years of age 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
    • Customer service experience preferred, but we will train the right applicant! ● Legally able to work in the U.S. 
    • Great driving record

Physical Requirements: 

• • • Regular and predictable attendance 
    • Ability to stand on feet for entirety of shift 
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds
