Lallande Evening Dishwasher

Job Title: Lallande Evening Dishwasher
FT/PT: Part-time or full-time depending on the candidate
Hours: Tuesday 2pm-6pm
Wednesday-Saturday 2pm-midnight (Minimum 2 nights/week required, must be available for weekend
shifts and able to continue in the Fall) *We are not hiring from summer work only.
This position can be part time/job share or full time.
Pay: $20-25/hour based on experience

Job Description/Primary Duties:

Do you love being in the kitchen or have a strong interest in learning? We are seeking a team member to
join our small kitchen team at our restaurant, Lallande. Lallande is a French bistro with a focus on local
and seasonal ingredients. We are looking for someone who responds well to coaching, has great
endurance and integrity. Our shifts can be long and busy, but they are very meaningful. Our restaurant is
open Wednesday-Saturday. Most shifts begin at 2pm and end at Midnight. And we all do dishes and
clean up together. You must be at least 18 to apply for this position. Pay is based on experience.
Essential Responsibilities:

● Maintain dish room throughout shift
● Attention to detail with cleanliness and food safety
● Keeping kitchen clean and organized
● Following all food and safety procedures
● Opening and closing duties
● Other tasks as assigned

Experience is preferred in the restaurant industry, but if you are passionate and eager to learn, we will train you in an intimate restaurant environment. We’re looking for a dependable self-starter who can think quickly and memorize orders, as well as a person who has a positive attitude and great
interpersonal skills.

Our staff must be self-motivated, kind, hardworking, organized, able to multitask, and have a good attention to detail. Great interpersonal skills and communication with coworkers, management, and customers is needed. Friendly and able to work in a fast paced environment. Able to receive
constructive criticism feedback on a daily basis, and willing to ask questions to meet Lallande’s standards.

Education and Experience:
▪ 18 years of age
▪ High school diploma or equivalent
▪ Kitchen experience preferred
▪ Legally able to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
▪ Regular and predictable attendance
▪ Ability to stand on feet for entirety of shift
▪ Ability to lift 50 pounds
