by | Sep 8, 2015 | 0 comments

Madison, Wis., 9/2/2015 — Madison’s 12th annual Vegan Chili Cook-Off will take place at the Masonic Center, 301 Wisconsin Ave., Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The event features chefs from area restaurants engaged in a friendly competition to see whose vegan chili will reign supreme.

“I look forward to the cook-off all year,” said Hannah West, event organizer. “It’s always a lot of fun to see people enjoying the different chili styles. And I’m excited to see if any of the contenders this year will bring Eldorado Grill’s three-year winning streak to an end.”

Over 200 attendees are expected at the cook-off this year, where they will enjoy live music along with vegan hot dogs, desserts, and lots of great chili. The event is hosted by Alliance for Animals and the Environment as a fundraiser for the work they do throughout the year. Tickets are $25 ($10 with a student ID and $5 for children under 12).
