by | Mar 17, 2015 | 0 comments

On behalf of the Fair Wisconsin Boards of Directors, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Megin McDonell as Interim Executive Director, following the departure of President & CEO Katie Belanger.

Serving Fair Wisconsin as External Relations Director since 2011, Megin has extensive experience working in nonprofits, including grant writing, budget development, media and communications, and program development and implementation. Before joining Fair Wisconsin in 2011, she was the Program Director at the Tenant Resource Center in Madison for over fourteen years. She has been extremely active in local politics and elections, including serving for eleven years on the Madison Equal Opportunities Commission and working on numerous aldermanic, county board, assembly and congressional campaigns.

We are excited that Megin has agreed to serve in this capacity as we continue implementing our transition plan to find a permanent executive staff leader.  Fair Wisconsin is committed more than ever to building upon our recent successes and working to achieve true, full lived equality for all people in Wisconsin.  Thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you over the next few weeks, months, and years as we continue to build a fair, safe, and inclusive Wisconsin.
