The Felicia Melton Smyth Holiday Gift Drive has provided holiday gifts to clients of AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin and their families for 15 years. First began by Felicia in 2002 with assistance from Dana Crumpton and the Shamrock Bar, the drive has been a source of joy for those living with HIV/AIDS. Since Felicia’s passing in 2008, Dana has been the lone organizer of the drive. But recently, Dana has had to fight another battle–one which makes it impossible to continue as the lone organizer- -his valiant battle with cancer. Needing help with coordinating and administrating the drive, he reached out to the Mad City Sisters.

The Mad City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a charitable nonprofit organization founded in 2012, are honored to help Dana coordinate the drive. The Sisters’ mission is to “expiate stigmatic guilt and promulgate omniversal joy,” and their work has raised significant funds for various organizations over the past five years.

This year’s Holiday Drive will kick off at the Shamrock Bar on November 19th. Shamrock has been home to the Drive since its inception in 2002. The tree will be decorated with gift tags for the requested gifts. Everyone is encouraged to take a tag and purchase the gift, or support the drive through donations.
