by | Mar 10, 2014 | 0 comments

Milwaukee, WI – Lisa Lampanelli. Sandra Bernhard. Macy Gray.  Chad Michaels. Steve Grand. Mary Lambert. Bruce Vilanch. Big Freedia.  And many, many more!

PrideFest Milwaukee is proud to welcome these talented entertainers to Henry W. Maier Festival Park June 6, 7 and 8 for the nation’s largest showcase of LGBT talent. Over the three-day weekend, these headliners will be joined by nearly 100 national, regional and local performers on eight stages throughout the festival grounds.  Preview the Miller MainStage line-up.

“We truly believe PrideFest Milwaukee offers something for every visitor,” said Kate Sherry, festival co-producer. “This year, we’re thrilled to host a dynamic mix of musical, comedy, and drag performances that reflects the diversity of LGBT culture and community.  We’re honored to have access to such stunning talent — and our showcase continues to grow every day.”

Save the dates — and get ready to make your moment!

Friday, June 6: Bruce Vilanch, Chad Michaels
Saturday, June 7: Steve Grand, Mary Lambert, Big Freedia, Macy Gray
Sunday, June 8: Lisa Lampanelli, Sandra Bernhard

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 14. This year, festival goers will have the option of adding $1 to their ticket purchases to support the American Civil Liberties Union in their critical battle for marriage equality in Wisconsin.

PrideFest Milwaukee proudly honors last year’s ticket prices with no increase at any level of admission.  The festival again offers the popular three-day, $30 weekend pass through June 6, 2014.  Single-day admission prices will be $13 advance, $16 at gate. Single-day VIP passes, which includes access to the exclusive VIP Deck, will be $100 advance, or $225 or the three-day weekend.

As one of the largest and longest-running LGBT pride festivals with no paid staff, PrideFest Milwaukee relies heavily on volunteer support to staff the weekend festival.  Applications are now being accepted online for all open positions.
Designers: want to become part of PrideFest history?  You’re invited to join the 2014 Annual Souvenir T-Shirt Design Contest!  Watch for the official Call for Entries, Submission Form, and Contest Rules coming on April 1.

Additional announcements, including box office links, talent updates, stage schedules, contests and promotions, will be released as they become available. For up-to-the-minute PrideFest news throughout the year, follow us on Facebook and  Twitter.

Without the generous support of our community, PrideFest Milwaukee would not be possible.  We welcome performers, volunteers, vendors, sponsors and media partners to be part of the 2014 festival operation.  To learn more about these opportunities, visit our website, contact us at [email protected] or call 1-414-272-3378.
