Daniel E. Leamy, age 51 of Madison and Bloomington, passed away from an apparent heart attack on December 18, 2024 at his Madison home. He was born on June 13, 1973, the son of David and Shirley (Adrian) Leamy.

Dan attended Bloomington High School. He had a variety of jobs, having worked at Wisconsin Badger Camp as a counselor, and a case manager for REM in Madison. He then returned to Bloomington to work at the Ace of Clubs, then purchased the restaurant in 1997—changing the name to Danny’s Ace of Clubs. His next professional career was case management for individuals with HIV. He proudly served 13 years as a HIV Case Worker at the former AIDS Network, now known as Vivent Health.

Most recently, Dan was the Human Services Program Coordinator for the AIDS/HIV Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. He also loved serving as a volunteer EMT with the West Grant Rescue Squad and as a part-time charter bus driver for WARCO Transportation in Bloomington.

Dan took great pride in touching and impacting the lives of so many. He was the “fun” son, brother, boss, coworker, and friend. Dan loved to cook and share his creations with family and friends. He was loved by many and had a significant impact on the lives of others
