Fair Wisconsin Political Action Committee is proud to endorse Candidate Mary Burke for Governor.

“Mary Burke has demonstrated a sincere and unwavering commitment to fairness and equality for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community,” stated Katie Belanger, Fair Wisconsin President & CEO.

“Mary opposed the 2006 constitutional amendment banning marriage equality and civil unions, and as governor she would work to defend the state’s domestic partnership registry which provides critical protections to same-gender couples until full equality can be achieved,” added Jason Rae, Fair Wisconsin Inc. Board Chair and a member of the PAC committee.  “On behalf of Fair Wisconsin PAC, Wisconsin’s only statewide LGBT political action committee, we believe Mary Burke will be the strongest champion for fairness and equality in the Office of Governor.”

After inviting both declared candidates to participate in endorsement interviews, members of the PAC committee voted to endorse Burke.  For more information about the Fair Wisconsin Political Action Committee, visit fairwisconsin.com.
