A beautiful weekend started with a Friday cookout. We met up Saturday for the scenic riverboat cruise down the St. Croix. Friends and family shared the ride amongst a little rain. Our day was everything we hoped it would be: Celebrating with friends and family, eating great food that represented special moments in our relationship, and a reception full of memories. On a beautiful, sunny-yet-cool day, Rob and Axel tied the knot at the elegant Madison Club. Rob honored his heritage in a kilt with his family tartan, while Axel looked stunning in a tuxedo. Their intimate ceremony radiated love, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.

Guests were welcomed with champagne and enjoyed two signature cocktails: The timeless Last Word and the Aviation. Dinner followed, highlighted by a meaningful Quaich ceremony, a nod to Rob’s Scottish roots. We had a beautiful day! There’s a height difference between us, and we playfully acknowledged that during the ceremony by having random attendees bring cookbooks for Lena to stand on for our first kiss.
